Isabelle Gregson just wants to get on with her show... and her life. Problem is, everyone else wants it their way, from dress size and addiction, to sex, performing and... wine-gums. British Comedy Award winner Chips Hardy dishes out another dysfunctional comedy. Spicy, outrageous but never hard to swallow. Contains strong language, multiple personalities, partial nudity, original songs, and bananas.
There's Something in the Fridge that Wants to Kill Me! will go on to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 31st July to 24th August 2008 at The Smirnoff Underbelly.
Writer Chips Hardy on the play:
"My first play Blue On Blue took a hard arsed look at compulsion and co-dependency but was first and foremost a darkly funny play about people. And was heavily male. Here I'm focused more on the feminine. I'm deliberately looking for a softer, sexier and some times poignant comic voice - to make similar points but with a contrasting grace and light. And created a different family squabble, just as true to life but this time in one head.
