Several months in and where wit and fine dining once was the order of the day, vulnerability and a reliance on pre-packed ready meals dominates Stephen and Claire’s relationship. Now cripplingly reliant on her boyfriend, Claire won’t leave and her insecurities take over, while her true desires manifest themselves in the form of a demented Delia-style television chef who presents somewhat unusual recipes throughout – a product of days at home alone, with nothing but the television for company.
Could it all be a recipe for disaster? Featuring a banquet of ready meals on stage, 'Love Bites' is visual, visceral, always surreal and cruelly funny.
