Written and performed by Henry Regan and Ross Stanley
29 November – 10 December 2011
A heart warming and heart wrenching play about youth, friendship and bed baths.
Two young friends are bed bound in a private hospital ward. James, terminally ill with leukaemia, knows he will never leave his bed. He also knows that his best placebo is Freddy, who has undergone intensive heart surgery. They don’t lead normal lives but that doesn’t mean they aren’t normal. On a seemingly quiet hospital afternoon but events will unfold that change their lives forever….
“This is a raw and brilliant production; a simple piece weaving together the pain of illness, the fear death, and yet the strength of youth and friendship” ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edfringereview.com
